Can you provide a DDP door-to-door quotation?
Yes, and it is quoted per project rather than from a price list. A DDP door-to-door figure depends on the product, the shipment and the destination, so H&B Art evaluates it once those three are confirmed rather than issuing a generic rate that would change later.
What DDP covers
Under delivered duty paid terms, the seller arranges carriage to the buyer's named address and bears the freight, export and import clearance, duties and destination charges. The buyer receives the goods at their door without managing a customs entry, which is why DDP is common for marketplace and small-format retail programs.
What we need to quote
- Product reference, quantity and carton count
- Method — air, vessel or international express
- Full destination address, including postal code and whether it is a commercial address or a fulfillment center
- Whether the goods are going to a marketplace warehouse, since booking procedures and delivery windows differ by facility
How this relates to our standard pricing
Our standard quotations are issued on EXW terms, and freight can be delivered by air, vessel or international express from Ningbo, Shanghai or Shenzhen. DDP is a separate quotation layered on top, so you can compare the two structures on the same order rather than switching suppliers to change terms.
When DDP makes sense
DDP is usually the better structure for first orders and for marketplace-bound shipments, where an unexpected customs charge or a missed delivery window costs more than the freight difference. For repeat container programs with an established importer of record, EXW or FOB pricing is normally more economical.
